Lots of families do!
Our trained puppies are crate trained, housebroken, extensively socialized, and know all basic commands. There are currently 2 lovely 6 month old puppies who will be finishing their training in a few weeks or so. They are F1b, fully vaxxed, and live in our busy household with kids and cats.

There are 2 puppies in training. one male, one female. Both are tri color parti, which means they have more than 50% white on their bodies and tri color markings on their face and head.

They were born 12/5/ They are crate trained, leash trained, pretty much house trained as well. They hae most of their basic obedience - what we are working on now is obedience exercises under increasing levels of distraction, for a longer duration. They know basic "directional" instructions, like off, kennel, outside (both as a direction and an inquiry for potty time, ) up, move, etc. They know "Shh." They know basic obedience commands, with emphasis on a solid recall, drop it, leave it, and wait. These commands can save a dog's life.
They have been intensely socialized with kids, cats, other dogs, birds, They are great in the car and really like to go out and about.
Personalities: Both are sweet puppies.
The male, Tango. is a very focused, people-oriented boy. He is a very clean puppy, not fussy about food, and is right now about 16-17pounds. He is a thinker. He has always had great eye contact and a desire to please. He was originally reserved as an emotional support dog prospect because of his great temperament, but the dad of the family was laid off indefinitely and the project was pushed to the future when things are more settled for them.
The female is about 18-19 pounds. She is confident and affectionate, but not "needy." She will top out at about 25-26 pounds. She loves toys and has no trouble entertaining herself. She is going to be a very loyal family dog, not the type to walk away with a stranger. She is highly intelligent and really wants to bond.
Both pups are fully vaccinated, including rabies. They are still a little young for a Lyme vaccine, but I highly recommend it once they are a bit older. This year is terrible for ticks. They are way too young to be spayed or neutered.
The cost of an untrained puppy is $4000. The trained pups are $6500. We are able to incorporate specific environmental factors such as elevators, sliding or revolving doors, etc., if needed.
I hope this info is good for starters. I'm happy to chat with you about the pups
