Having a new puppy is a lot like having a new baby in the house - a routine and a consistent schedule are essential. But many families face a lot of additional scheduling demands - jobs, schools, athletics, etc.,  that make having an 8 week old puppy extra challenging

An older puppy has had time to grow and mature a bit. They are crate trained and housebroken. They sleep through the night. They have learned household routines and know all the basic obedience commands. They are on their way to being excellent companions. Older pups are not always available, so if this is of interest, it's worth checking in from time to time.

Bringing home a trained puppy truly is the best of both worlds. After a very brief transition, a trained puppy will blend seamlessly into the fabric of their new family. You will still experience the fun and happy antics of a puppy, and will bond closely together.
