Blackbriar is introducing a guardian Program

At BlackBriar, the our first priority is, and always will be, providing each and every dog in our program with the highest quality care and quality of life that can be had. With that in mind, we have decided to begin a limited guardian program. This allows a dog to live in a family setting as a single dog, or as part of a smaller group of dogs than we have here. 

There are no upfront costs when receiving a dog through the guardian program. In return, you would agree to allow your dog to return to have two litters at BlackBriar (for females) or allow your dog to be used periodically as a sire (the boys.) At the conclusion of the guardian arrangement, the dog will be spayed or neutered at an appropriate age, and will belong to you entirely.

To participate in this program, you must live within 90 minutes of Hope Valley, RI. You must own your own home or demonstrate a long term lease agreement. You must agree to feed the dog a species-appropriate raw diet. You must agree to cooperate with  the requirements of breeding schedules and vet visits, although we will do the driving and transport. Finally, you must agree to love and care for your dog for its lifetime.
