At BlackBriar Bernedoodles , we are dedicated to breeding healthy and robust puppies. Our breeding program focuses on genetic health, temperament, and structural integrity. We take pride in our dogs and our work and strive to produce puppies that will go on to have happy lives as cherished family members. We stand behind our dogs 100%, for life. This commitment grounds our integrity and reputation as ethical,  dedicated breeders.

When we hear of a Bernedoodle, Poodle, or Bernese Mountain Dog in need, whenever possible we step in to help. We also help breeders who reach out to us for assistance. 

We are currently  fostering two 4 month old mini tricolor parti male puppies, vetted and appropriately vaxxed.They are  sweet and very social. I will send their photos to serious inquiries.  Blackbriardoodles@gmail.com. 

They were surrendered to me by a novice breeder who did a lot of things the right way, so they have had pretty good care. They are  neutral to cats and good with kids. They have had good food and were raised in a family setting, which is so important to good development. 

The breeder was unable to place them  - the litter was large, and as a new breeder, he just did not have the network to attract the right kind of family for the puppies, and he found our Bernedoodle rescue on the internet and reached out to us.  So calling these pups a "rescue" is a bit misleading in terms of what a rescue usually means, but they need a family to bond with and be a part of. They will be  is a medium sized dogs, very handsome with adorable eyebrows, and a happy demeanor. They are  easy to handle. Their  wavy coats are just starting to come in. 

They have some basic obedience and they have been clean in the house.   They are just  very good, easy pups that will really flourish in a loving, stable environment.  They have recently gotten vaccine boosters and will be wormed with the rest of my dogs on our scheduled treatment regimen. We are working on socialization every day, and they is doing very well. Today they learned to navigate the stairs!

There are times when circumstances intervene in terrible ways that make it impossible to keep a dog. Loss of job or home, accident, disability, and death are just a few reasons this can occur.  Sometimes people are just overwhelmed and despairing. Sometimes the dog was a terrible fit from the start. There is a lot of pain and suffering in the world, and we try to support the humans in the equation as well as the dogs without adding to the heartache. No judgement, just solutions. We do this as a way to give back, in honor of and with gratitude for, the beloved dogs who have made our lives richer and more joyful over many years.

It's my strong belief that life will often put in our path exactly what we need at that time. Sometimes it's a dog who has lost their family and security. Or a dog that is still waiting for the family or person he will devote his life to.

Countless men, women, and children of all ages have had their lives grounded and transformed by a a dog who was "rescued."
